A concept for a Spanish maker of tower cranes, with its plant in Zaragoza and its own service teams across Europe. We made the brand and its site: heavy, exact and calm.

APLOMO's parts, marked +9,60: the hook turning beside the five parts the plant makes

The idea

The name is a builder's word: a plomo, truly vertical. The logo's A is a mason's level with a plumb bob hanging from its apex, and the plumb bob carries the brand's only colour, a red-lead primer.

The site climbs like a crane: every section is marked with its height above ground, the hero is the crane's head turning as you scroll, and the parts the plant makes (the hook, the trolley, the slewing ring, the hoist and a mast section) turn one by one.

The palette is lime white, concrete, carbon and one red.

APLOMO's home page on a phone: “Levantamos ciudades a plomo” over the crane's head
APLOMO's range on a phone: “Grúas pensadas para cada altura” under three tower cranes
